About this website

Why an other website on bookplates?

This website is not a 'normal' commercial website.
I only use it to sell out my own collection of bookplates, prints, my books on several domains of art, as well as some other works of art.
So, it is really a temporary website: once all the stuff is sold, the website will have no more any reason to exist.

What makes this website different from the other ones?

  • Here you can purchase nice pieces which are hard to find or even cannot be bought elsewhere. My exlibrises are mainly from the 70's and the 80's. There is also a considerable number of bookplates from the years 1920 - 1940. A lot of them are very rare. Some are even more than 200 years old.
  • These many hundreds works of graphic art, made by more than hundred artists from many countries, will be sold at reasonable prices.
  • All prints are sold at fixed prices. However, regularly some of them will be offered in auction on eBay, which permits you to bid and to acquire them for a lower (or maybe higher!) price.

But why do you sell all these lovely things?

Well, because I'm old and I want to be sure they arrive in the hands of real ex libris or graphic art lovers. Like you.
