Artist: unidentified, probably Mathilde Ade (HU 1877-DE 1953). Year: ± 1910 since the text is written in the 'Kurrentschrift' from that time. Subject: little Enst reading fairy tales to his sister while all kinds of fairy-tale characters are listening in. Technique: 2 color lithography (?) (L1/2) printed on very thin Japanese paper. Plate size: 9,5 x 7,3; sheet: 12 x 9,4 cm. Condition: perfect but the very thin paper is slightly wrinkled. Deciphered text at the top: 'Aus dem Bücherschatz von Ernst von Possart' (Out of Ernst's books treasure). Text at the bottom: 'Dedicated to the friendly storyteller by the grateful children.'
